Expo Centre Sharjah and Doha Exhibition and Convention Center Partner to Organise the “Qatar Perfumes and Oud Exhibition” in Doha  

For the First Time Outside the UAE

Expo Centre Sharjah and Doha Exhibition and Convention Center have signed a cooperation agreement to organise and host the “Qatar Perfumes and Oud Exhibition” at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in Qatar from 25 March to 3 April 2027, in a step that reflects the two parties’ commitment to strengthening regional partnerships in the exhibitions sector and exchanging expertise and capabilities to organise a specialised event that brings together leading companies and brands operating in the perfumes and oud sector.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Chief Executive Officer of Expo Centre Sharjah, and Mr. Jose Vicente, Chief Executive Officer of Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

The agreement comes as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Expo Centre Sharjah and Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, and to benefit from the accumulated expertise of both parties in organising and hosting specialised exhibitions. It supports the staging of the “Qatar Perfumes and Oud Exhibition” in Doha and provides companies and brands operating in the perfumes and oud sector with opportunities to connect with new markets and audiences and expand their presence across the region.

H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa said: “The signing of this agreement represents an important step in strengthening regional cooperation among exhibition centres. We view our cooperation with Doha Exhibition and Convention Center as a partnership based on complementary expertise and capabilities, enabling Expo Centre Sharjah to leverage its experience in organising specialised exhibitions in new markets, thereby strengthening our regional presence and supporting opportunities for cooperation with exhibition centres and specialised institutions across the region.”

Al Midfa added: “Through these partnerships, we are committed to developing an integrated model of cooperation in the exhibitions sector that goes beyond hosting and organising events to strengthening connectivity between markets, opening new channels for companies and brands, and facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge among specialised institutions across the region. The organisation of the ‘Qatar Perfumes and Oud Exhibition’ in Doha represents an important milestone in this cooperation, and we look forward to building on it and further developing its prospects in the coming phase.”

A Partnership Bringing Together Expertise to Organise a Specialised Exhibition in Doha

The agreement brings together Expo Centre Sharjah’s expertise in organising and hosting specialised and international exhibitions with the capabilities of Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, supporting the organisation of the “Qatar Perfumes and Oud Exhibition” in Doha and providing exhibitors and participants with a platform to showcase their products, expand their presence, and build new business relationships in the Qatari market and across the region.

This collaboration builds on Expo Centre Sharjah’s experience in organising specialised exhibitions and events and reflects the centre’s commitment to expanding the scope of its regional partnerships and leveraging its expertise to organise events outside the UAE, in cooperation with exhibition centres and specialised institutions across the region.

The agreement also underscores Expo Centre Sharjah’s commitment to strengthening integration among GCC exhibition centres, exchanging expertise in event organisation, and supporting companies and brands in accessing new markets, contributing to stronger business connectivity and exploring business opportunities across the region.
