Menassah Showcases 2,000 Emirati Books at Al Ain Book Festival 2025

Sharjah, 27 November 2025: In line with its commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at promoting culture and knowledge, and reinforcing the status of books within the community, Menassah Distribution Company is participating in the 16th edition of the Al Ain Book Festival, launched by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre on 24 November at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, with the participation of 75 Emirati publishing houses that are enriching the festival with a wide range of local creative works.
Menassah’s presence at this prominent cultural event reflects its steadfast dedication to empowering Emirati creatives and advancing the local book industry. The company is capitalising on the momentum of the festival, which offers a rich programme of book exhibitions, author sessions, creative workshops, and family- and youth-focused activities held across heritage sites and public venues that embody the spirit and cultural memory of Al Ain.
The company provides visitors with an opportunity to explore new worlds that spark imagination and thought by showcasing 494 titles spanning various knowledge and literary fields from the latest publications of participating publishing houses, with a total of nearly 2,000 books. This contributes to expanding the reach of local content and highlighting Emirati creative works, which have become increasingly competitive within the regional and global publishing landscape.
Commenting on the participation, His Excellency Rashid Al Kous, Director General of Menassah Distribution Company, affirmed that the Al Ain Book Festival represents a vital platform for strengthening the community’s engagement with books and knowledge, while recalling the historic role played by Al Ain in safeguarding oral and literary heritage through its traditional majlis gatherings, old markets, and storytellers who shaped a rich cultural memory that continues today through pioneering knowledge initiatives such as this festival.
