Dubai to host the 8th Emirates Dermatology Society Annual Conference 2024

The 8th Emirates Dermatology Society Annual Conference 2024,

organized by the Emirates Dermatology Society at the InterContinental Dubai – Festival City Hotel, will be launched Friday November 8 , in the presence of about 500 doctors from leading experts and international and local specialists from dermatologists, cosmetology and lasers from different countries of the world.

Dr. Muna Al Murrawi, President of the Emirates Dermatology Society and Chair of the Conference, said that the conference will discuss over three days more than 85 expert talks associated to the latest developments related to dermatology and aesthetics, explaining that the scientific program includes a number of various scientific workshops that discuss the most important dermatological and aesthetic diseases and methods of treatment through a group of prominent speakers and experts at the local and international levels to discuss the latest global developments in the field of skin science. Laser and cosmetology in order to improve health care to give doctors participating in the conference scientific skills and global experiences to put into practice in their daily practices to promote and encourage the highest quality standards in health care for patients with dermatology and cosmetic diseases.

Dr. Muna Al Murrawi added that the conference will also discuss hair and nail disorders, acne, skin cancer, women health in dermatology, and the latest scientific findings in diseases and imbalances of hair and its transplantation, skin tumors and their treatments and laser, which now takes a large space in the treatment of skin diseases such as skin pigmentation, melisma, the effects of burns, blood birthmarks, varicose veins, tattoos and the most prevalent skin diseases such as psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema and fungi of

all kinds.

She explained that the conference, which is the largest of its kind in the Middle East, seeks to enhance awareness efforts and raise the awareness of health care professionals in the field of skin disease prevention and enable the local medical community to learn about the latest international medical practices proven by scientific evidence, in addition to highlighting the most important success stories in this field with the participation of an international elite of specialists in dermatology, cosmetics, laser and

related research.

She showed Dr. Muna that the accompanying exhibition, in which more than 29 local and international companies participate, will display the latest technologies and devices used in the field of diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, laser treatment techniques and cosmetic treatment. He pointed out that this year, many exhibiting companies are participating in the exhibition offering the latest devices and the latest medical equipment related to dermatology, cosmetology and laser.

She explained that the conference will witness the presentation of many scientific working papers related to dermatology, treatments, medical and cosmetic drugs, and new treatment methods such as biological treatments, chronic acute eczema, alopecia and others, explaining that a number of the latest types of laser devices will be displayed, especially since international manufacturers now view the UAE as the main gateway to enter the Middle East and North Africa markets.
